      The calculations assume:
    • Time and cost productivity savings of 60%
    • RSDataWeb costs of $240 ex GST per fund p.a.
    • The example calculations don't recognise volume or other discounts.
    • Any 3rd party costs for data feeds (eg Banklink) are not included.

    • Segment B) shows the annual results (ex GST) of your current SMSF business without RSDataWeb deployed.


    • Segment C) shows the annual results (ex GST) of your SMSF business with RSDataWeb deployed.


Note:
Management could decide to use the saved staff hours and costs to process additional client accounts. This would be an applaudable business strategy from an HR point of view, and would generate an additional income stream, assuming that the firm could actually win more clients for their services.
